Our Security System had a False Alarm this morning...
Jay and I woke up this morning at 4:23 (from this: :sleeping: to this: ) to Molson barking like crazy next to our bed. I don't know if he barked in his sleep, waking himself up thinking it was someone else that barked, or if he actually heard something.
I went back to sleep but Jay decided he needed to go check out the rest of the house to make sure it was all ok. Molson was more than eager to do the same, so my boys went around the house :--detektive: peeking their heads around corners,:hide:eepwall: kicking doors open :samurail:and checking behind shower curtains :curtain: looking for strange people. Turns out I had left a window open in the bathroom downstairs and it may have created a vacuum in the house and shut one of the doors on the main floor.

I thought it was cute. Oh yeah, I was really scared, too :uhoh:....

Well if you think about it, it actually wasn't a false alarm. The door did close so it alerted him that something was going on in the house that wasn't normal.

It was QUITE the bark, and to wake me from the great, deep sleep that I was having nearly gave me a heart attack!
We leave our windows open a lot, and our canine alarms always go off when they slam. We've got something propping open all the doors now The box full of stuff that I haven't unpacked holding the craft room door open, the vacuum holds the laundry room door open, the dog bed holds my bedroom door open...Maybe I should ask for some door stops fro Christmas?
