Opinions on two products?

Hi all,

I picked up the freebie magazine at Petco while getting Sienna some supplies yesterday and it had these two products featured on it's "Reviews" page and wondered if I could get some opinions:

http://www.me4kidz.com/medibagforpets.htm

http://www.pawzdogboots.com/

The medibag for obvious reasons, we have a kit for us, but haven't added for Sienna and I have been wanting to update all our "survivor" supplies. I tend to overwhelm myself with to many things to do with little time so wanted to get a "starting point" kit and go from there.

The Pawz product caught my eye because of Sienna's recent paw troubles, but also on the previous "bug out bag" post there was a post on keeping something like this in case of debris?? I don't know if they are thick enough, but good in a pinch?

They look a little like uninflated balloons, don't they? :D I guess it depends on what sort of emergency you were thinking they may have to walk through. For us, I imagine earthquke debris could be really sharp - full of glass, rubble, etc. I don't think based on the list of things they show the boots are good for that they would be very helpful for walking through sharp things.

The other kit looks good!

we got the doggy shoes for my dog charlie (small poodle mix)
he HATES Them! he walks like a crazy goose when he has them on and tries to bite them off.
my larger cousins dog (lab mix) did the same thing at 1st but accepted it as long as the walk was fun enough to distract him from the shoes

If you want really good boots that can withstand sharp debris, rocks and general wear and tear I would go with the Ruff Wear Grip Trex boots (http://www.ruffwear.com).

They feature a velcro closure that you can cinch tightly (they stay on really well) and a Vibram hiking boot sole that is usually found on hiking shoe brands like Merrell and Timberland.
