How do I get some responses to my threads?

45 min ago I asked if anyone had used Comfortis and related the issues I am having with Brooks and fleas and asked for advice. NO RESPONSES

Yesterday I posted about my cat being given a new Rx (Pancreved) and asked if anyone had any experience with it and asked for help-I got 3 responses but none were regarding that Rx-and maybe no one had ever used the Rx on a cat, but figured SOMEONE surely used a pancreatic enzyme for their dog and would respond.......

I thought maybe by posting a PICTURE of my cat I'd at least get someone to look at it and then read about my cat's health problems and what the vet and I are thinking. No one even looked at it!!!!

What gives?

I am not sure, I read but I don't know anything about the flea meds so I didn't post
Try putting "PD" in the title.

I don't look at every thread. As far as Comfortis is concerned, I've used it with great success.
Sorry but I don't know anything about cats and we don't have a big flea problem. I could not help so as I have never heard of Comfortis, I didn't read your thread. I hope you can find the help you are seeking. Ask about something I am familiar with, and I will try to give you my best answer.
same here, both threads were about things I'm not at all familiar with, sorry!
The issues you posted about are quite specific and not something a large number of people on the forum have experience with I'm sure. Sometimes those posts just take a few days to get very many responses... just keep bumping it up at different times of the day and I'm sure someone with experience will see it!!

Never used Comfortis myself but its highly recommended by my vet and while I would love a pill form flea protection (hate the topicals) it was just a little out of my budget.
I didn't see your Thread, sorry...I don't know of the products you mentioned either. Hope you find the info you're looking for.

ditto here. sorry. I would gladly respond if I had info that could help you out.

:):):):):):):) Loved this idea!!

So, anyway, I gave Brooks Benadryl-so he won't feel so itchy until I can stop the fleas-
and sprayed him with Ovitrol (kilss and repels fleas, ticks, lice, flies, mosquitoes, and gnats...or so the label says) which I hate doing as now he has poison inside and outside.

The vet suggested the cooked chicken and brown rice diet for the cat (on top of the Rx) so I have made that in hopes it helps the diarrhea.

Thanks for the responses, though.

Thank
Sometimes responses to threads depend on how many people are currently on, who is currently on and their interests and expertise. Like many who posted above, I had never heard of the treatment you were using, so didn't feel qualified to respond. I did read the post, however, hoping to learn what it was all about!
I saw the Comfortis thread, I thought it was an arthritus drug for people, so I did not bother going into it.

I don't think I saw the thread about the cat. I would not be any help if a did.

I agree with the above post, sometimes it depends on the time of the day. I would bump it up so it gets back to the top. There are some threads that I just never see until three or four days later, even though there have been responses to them. I think they just get lost in the queries.
Sorry I'm no help either--I'm a Revolution gal.
Sorry I am no help either. Hope your cat feels better.
Sorry, I know how it is to get few responses.

But I usually don't reply when I have no info on the question so I don't tie up a thread when the OP is looking for answers.
Ok I know about Comfortis. The rescue gets that from the vet for all the fosters. And it worked good so I switched my dogs to it. If there is a flea I also get the Capstar to kill any fleas left on him. That Capstar will kill them with 24 hours. And I like the Comfortis because it is not a liquid.
I didn't open the threads because I have no experience with the meds.
only experience I've had with fleas was from my stepson's cats - he has to bomb the house every so often, I think.
(flea bomb, that is)
Perhaps title the message HELP... then whatever it is.

That usually catches my eye when scanning the threads. There are just so many here - I skim and open a few but can never open them all.

I don't think you're being avoided - this forum is just too big.
Sorry spent the day with my grandson so I didn't see your post. I am not familiar with cats or the Rx. Good luck!
