He came in the office, sat down, and started to shove his face into the floor as hard as he could, rubbing it back and forth, like crazy !

I set the phone down, got on the floor, and made him stop so I could look.

At first I didn't see anything, but then he went right back to doing it.

I looked again, and finally saw it.

A stick, about 2" wide, was wedged in his upper mouth right against the roof of his mouth and between the two upper gums.

I had to break it in half to get it out.

Why oh why do they do this to us?

GILMOUR just about gave me a heart attack, too. Thank God he is o.k.

I freak anytime I think something is wrong with one of my babies!

Been there, only when Sadie dislodged it, she then half swallowed it. Not moving any air:(. Sent my daughter after long hemostats, and tried a dog Heimlich. I don't know if I squeezed it or scared it out of her, but she produced it.

Gilmour, eat leaves, not sticks!:nono:

The same thing happened to Gus, but with a cow hoof, and he was just running around shaking his head like crazy. I couldn't figure out what was happening. The hoof was so dark it took me a minute to see it stuck up there. He doesn't get those anymore.

Glad all is well now. That is horribly scary. Rusty, Penny and Buckwheat all have done this same thing! They were banging their heads, pawing the sides of the face, and looking like they wanted to turn a somersaut. Some of the sticks were wedged in so hard it was difficut to get them out. Whew! Colored my hair today... So many grays from our babies!
