We've lived in Portland, OR for 6.5 years but have never been to Bend. I am hoping to organize a short trip there for the first or last weekend of Spring Break. It will be the first time we have taken Sienna on an overnight trip with us.

Any recommendations on must sees?

just saw this & someone (I know it wasn't you!) had just asked this on the lab forum -- nothing conclusive other than nice, beautiful, etc....Mt. Bachelor, Deshutes River, Sunriver is dog friendly (I know that - but is it close to Bend?)

Bend area dog hikes

I recommend the Badlands, Tumalo Falls State Park, and Smith Rock State Park for long, scenic Spring dog hikes.

Go skiing or snowboarding.
They're open until June there.
I was there in mid-May when my wife told me over the phone she was pregnant with our first child.
The days were pretty much all riding, but I remember there's a fun bowling alley there and a bar that had a disco night. It's a cool little town.
