We went to DH's family's cottage this (long) weekend. Mia had lots of fun as usual. :D Here are some pictures from our boat ride with Mia.

My DH's aunt (she's the one in the yellow shirt on one of the pics) has a senior chocolate lab (she's 15 and a half) that you can see in the pictures. Her name is Coco. Coco hadn't been to the cottage in two years and it was cute to see her wobble around recognizing (or so it seemed) the scents (she's almost completely blind and deaf).

Enjoy!

Great pictures!! I love that white face on Coco! My mom's chocolate lab just turned 10 and she has a FEW white hairs on her chin...and a few on her inner thighs, but that is IT!! We just thought that chocolate labs didn't go grey!

I'm not sure how long Coco has had white hairs for, but she's got them on the face, paws and belly.

How fun for you all! Mia sure loves the boat doesn't she? That's awesome! Our plot hound's face is slowly getting whiter and whiter. I don't know how old he was since he was a rescue. Thanks for sharing your weekend fun with us!

The joy on CoCo's face is just so sweet. It looks like a great time.

Fabulous pics, doggies love the boat!

As assistant captain woman I am always ready to reach over and cut the motor if one of the bumpasses look like they might bail. But they never do, just wait for when we say OK, off.

Caue will tell Mia that she will only do it once. :D:doh: He still darts side to side in my boat but we haven't had to do the "Man Overboard" drill since the first time.
What did you do? Did you go in after him? Did he come back on his own?

I can't swim, so it would have to be DH that would have to get her...
