Hello, My name is Heather and I live in Kentucky. I currently have an 11-13 year old Golden Retriever named Joe, that I rescued in 1996 (his story is on dogster in my signature) I have a German Shepherd mix named Sophie, I adopted her January 17th, 2005 from the humane society and I have a cat, Miss Kitty. She is 13 years old, 14 next month. She hasn't been feeling well the past few days, so pray for her. =) I've also been dating my boyfriend, Matt, for 2 1/2 years. We also have a 3 month old goddaughter, Sarah. Here are some pics of Matt and I and the baby

Hi Heather,

my name is Joe too :) haha that's funny.
Only Joe on this forum is me and your Golden. I love it.

Joe

Btw. I had to amend your post, as the way you linked those images somewhat didn't work. Next time you'll be adding some pictures click on the image icon in the menu and just paste in url, it will automatically link it into the post for you.

Have a great day. Say hello to Matt and you little daughter Sarah (she is adorable + I always loved that name) and I hope to see you around a lot.
Now I am running to bed finally. I am so **** tired. :)

Well, Sarah is our goddaughter, actually. I dunno what I'd do if she were mine! ha...If something happens to her parents, Matt and I get her. I just love her and I had to share her!

Oh you're fine!!! :) I'm only 19, I can't imagine myself with a baby! Her parents aren't much older, (20, and 21-22)

I would never guess you to be 19...
Did you say that Sarah's parents are only 20/21,... uff ... that is quite early...

I am 30, my wife 26 and we are still not sure if we are ready.

But now when experiencing Kia's pregnancy and puppies, it is all so cute...
I wouldn't mind to have a child and for sure I wouldn't say no, if Vierka were up for it :)
(Gosh, I am a dead man for this...)

Btw. I looked at the pictures of Miss Kitty and Sophie... they're cute...

Kentucky? How is the life overthere? Are you working or studying?

Hey Heather and hello to your human and animal family members! :D
I liked you dogster and catster bios, really cool and fun... hihi

Glad you joined us.

I have a godson Marek in Europe (Slovakia), he just turned 11 and I remember the day I held him in my arms during the christening (he was becoming quite heavy in that hour or so). It's a different and special bond being godparent...

Vet tech? That is great, does it mean that all of us can ask you some weird and complicated questions? :)

This study is to become a common vet tech or vet assistant?

I mean, are you studying to be helping out in the vet office, and do anything a "normal" vet tech does, like restrain animals, vaccinations, x-rays, etc or is it some office position in vet office?

I can do anything from assisting in surgery to office work to giving vaccinations. =) I can also decide from there if I want to be a full blown veterinarian. It only takes one year to do so I can have time to change my mind if I want. =) I will always do something with animals, though! =)

Well, that is a great job for you then.
In my opinion, you'll be holding a right job as soon as you do not have to check the watches constantly in expectation of an end of the shift.

I guess my computer job was also a lucky choice. Sometimes I just can't keep the track of the time at work, realizing it's 6pm, but feeling like it's only something after lunch.

I hope you'd have it the same way once you start to work.
Joe
