Hi, I just wanted to drop a quick note to introduce myself and my new Golden pup, Scotch. I've had him a week, and I can't imagine life without him already! I've never had a puppy of my own, although I have an older beagle/basset mix that came home about 3 years ago from a shelter. Currently we're in the process of crate training, and it's going pretty well. I've never done all this before, so there is definitely a learning curve! After a week, we're both (me and Scotch) settling quite well!

I've been looking around the forums and there's a lot of good info, people, and dogs here! I look forward to being a part of the Golden Lover's community!

I can tell from your 2nd picture that you'll have a hard time keeping up with him as he grows up! I couldn't tell you how many pictures I have of Molson at that age, where I only catch half his body or tail in the picture because he's running all over the place

Thank you all so much for the warm welcomes! I'm so glad you all like pics so I have a place to share the myriads I've already been taking, haha. I have taken pictures of him every day!
