I know one does not bring unentered dogs to obedience/agility/conformatin etc., but would it be okay to bring the Tito Monster out to the hunt trials today just to see how he feels about the guns?
The trial is in a HUGE public conservation area (you have to drive from JH to SH, etc.). They are also running the weim trials out there in a different area today.
I don't want to do anything that would be rude or inconsiderate, and of course I'd keep him well away from the actual event area and the other dogs.
Since it's lab national, I'm sure they'd know he's not an entered dog!!
Opinions???

You are not supposed to bring an unentered dog to the event, but I have seen several "other breed" dogs at the events, they just stay at the vehicle. So if you kept him at your vehicle and took him out to hear the shooting, I don't think there would be an issue.

There is no rule about unentered dogs at a HT. There is however a rule that they must be on leash.
