Friends of mine are getting a new golden puppy November 21/09.
We are excited!!!

They are having difficulty thinking of a registered name for this boy.
His call name is going to be Woody and they are hoping for something in his registered name that has to do with the Fall/Thanksgiving.
The name will start with FortKnox.

Knowing how imaginative all of you are, I told Jenny I would throw this out and see if anyone had any suggestions.

You know, it's actually easier to name a baby than it is to name a
puppy:doh:

Thanks in advance :)

FortKnox The leaves 'autumn'bling down (lol i.e. the leaves are tumbling down)
FortKnox Red Orange and Gold (colour of the leaves)

Ok I thought I was going to have a ton but I've been thinking about it for half an hour and that's all I came up with. :(

Heather, I know!! Isn't that a great name :)
I love it and I think Jenny does too!!!
Good thinking Steph!!

"Woody's" parents are Mia (offspring of Houston) and Sailor.
Jenny is thrilled to be able to get one of these babies :)
I'm thrilled to be able to hold a puppy again!!!
And maybe, just maybe, I won't give it back :)

New Puppy, New Member

First thing that came to mind was "Knox on Wood" and "Wood you like some turkey?" hahaha
Steph,
My friend loved the name and picked up "FortKnox on Wood" yesterday.
Now if she would just stop playing with "Woody" and post some pics on the forum, you can all meet this guy:)

Jenny, start posting!!!!!

I know it's been a while since anyone has posted on this thread but we're getting our pup from Fort Knox in 3 weeks (so excited)! She's actually a daughter of Houston, so is Woody's uncle! It would be great to hear about your experiences and if anyone has any tips/suggestions about her first little while home.
