Hello all,
Haven't been on in a while, used to be on all the time when we got River, our Lakesyde puppy. He's now two and is such a joy to be around. My daughter just got married about a month ago and she and my son in law miss River like crazy. They're thinking about starting to look for a puppy soon, but just can't seem to find the right breeder. We're in MI and every litter she loves much farther away (AB Canada= two days of travel one way, Maine= three to four days of travel one way, etc). Anyone have any recommendations for around here? Thank you!!!!

What kind of pup are you looking for? Field lines, performance dog, show type?

I would contact Pointgold. She is in MI and while I have no idea if she is breeding any of her girls any time soon, she knows a lot of people

I have nothing planned until Spring.
Without knowing what the daughter is looking for - style, purpose, etc, it's difficult to recommend a breeder. I might also suggest contacting Doolin in WI, though.

If they're willing to go with older pups/young adults, I have a friend in central Wisconsin with a lovely 7 month old Guess daughter who didn't work out for her for show (her brother placed in his class at the National), and she also has this boy to place

check out golden sunrise in milan,mi. the breeder is rebecca bokorski. three years ago, i purchased my darling sophie from her. i would have purchased another dog from her, however rescues sadie and hannah came along. she is very good with follow ups after the puirchase.

Prior to looking at Golden Sunrise pups (or any pups), please read the stickies at the top of this forum and make sure the guidelines that relate to clearances and age of the parents when bred are followed.
