I would have your pup checked out right away, it's possible it's an allergic reaction to something or it could be something more serious.

It could be a reaction to any cleaners you use in your house, chemicals in the yard, your pup may have been bitten by an insect or stung.

Thank you!! She isn’t vomiting or having diarrhea so I don’t think she ate anything....we also haven’t changed anything with cleaners or treats/food. Maybe a bite. Could an allergy be developed and cause a reaction that sudden? So baffling to me.

If she was stung or bitten by a insect, sometimes it only takes a few minutes for a reaction, sometimes longer. It depends on what type of insect.

My first golden was stung by a wasp and bitten by a spider twice. The wasp sting had an immediate reaction, the spider bites took a little bit longer. Lots of swelling, had to take him to the Vet each time for a shot and the Vet prescribed Benadryl.
