I realize in the grand scheme of things, this is not a big deal. Z is my fourth golden. The previous ones roo roo roo'd when they barked. Yorvit didn't bark at all until he was around a year. Z yodels! He starts with a roo, roo and then finishes with almost a hound-like howl. Is there something wrong with him? Anybody else with an unusual bark? He's a rescue, so I guess he could be mixed, but he sure looks golden, acts golden. But you know what they say, if he walks like a ???, quacks like a ???, then he must be a ???

Hmmm... I bet it's just his own funny little quirk. I know a dalmatian who yodels, too.

Gibby sometimes makes a sound kind of similar to yodeling. He just has a bunch of different sounds he makes when he gets excited. I wouldn't worry about it - it sounds like a funny quirky thing Z does.

Kaylee has a normal bark, which sometimes ends in a higher pitched hound like howl. It's so odd! Our quirky pups
