I just had to post this picture of Dakota and our cat Sunny. We found Sunny when she was about 4 weeks old and Dakota "adopted" her and the two of them have a very unusual bond.

I have a feeling if we brought Dakota in now that Sunny is established in the house that their relationship would be very different but because Dakota became her "mommy" she doesn't know any different. She loves our older dog but he wants nothing to do with her. I honestly don't think Sunny realizes she is a cat...I think she is part Golden Retriever
