She's VERY hard to take pics of... But I picked her up from my local shelter and they said she's at least a year old and is a retriever mix. The only thing I see on her that doesn't look like a GR is the black spots on her tongue and one of her ears lays funny.. otherwise she looks pretty golden to me!!

At the dog park.. lol there was no way I was getting a good pic from this trip...

And when I got her home (was trying to get the collar to fit.. got a new one that doesn't fit so i'm sending it back and already orderd the right one.. sheesh)

She's a great dog!! Doesn't seem like she's had much handeling or training but she's learning VERY fast. Haven't had her a week yet and she already knows sit Next we'll do lay down and come. For sure need to teach her come ASAP.

Black "treat" spots on the tongue are quite common in goldens.

She might be FB. Not sure why someone just let her run off and never try to find her.

We were working on playing fetch. She'll leave the ball or frisby NEAR you lol or she acts like she wants you to chase it. I wont chase her...

I'm hoping one day she'll stay still so I can go to a nice place and get good pics of her.

Lots of goldens have black pigmentation spots on their tongue. She looks very golden to me!

Hayden is cute. Chester has a black spot on his tongue as well, (kind of showed up out of nowhere), always kind of worried me until I read other posts on the forum. I love your back yard, the weave poles and tunnel are really cool. Might have to add something like that to the back yard in the spring. Is the tunnel just some kind of large flexible drain pipe?

BTW, the black spots on the tongue are actually pretty common in GR's... my boy has a big one on the back of his tongue! And the same one with the black spot also has the "funny ears" like yours does.. and he is a purebred GR

She is a pretty little girl and I think full blooded too. It looks like she is at the age where they are all legs and ears.
