Well most interesting! Had a sweet little kitty DUMPED on our property-we are rural- WHY do people think if it is dumped someone will care for it??Grrr! Humane Society is full - I certainly willnot RE DUMP IT so guess it is mine- or I should say Mose's! He thinks it is HIS baby- he picks it up by its neck and carries it around- if it is on my lap he nudges and licks it! If it goes under the bed he lays there with his head under the bed and whines! It is rather tiring- "Moses- gentle" "Moses-NICE" Moses-leave it" He has TOTALLY forgot what LEAVE IT means when it comes to Kitty! Just glad he does not pick it up and shake it to pieces like he does his toys!
He was used to having OLD CAT hiss and strike at him so really does not know what to think- except it is HIS baby:)

He is just so gentle and sweet with that kitty. You need to take some pictures of them together.

Aww...I haven't said anything, but one of my cats was let out and hasn't returned home. It's been over a week and this time around, we think he may not return. I'm not sure why my family doesn't listen to me when I say, "Don't let him out" but out he went.

I hope you have many happy healthy years together. We had 15...Hoping he shows up on the doorstep like always for a few more.

How cute and sweet! They adore each other.
How could anybody dump a cat that has obviously been raised with love is beyond me although I know it happens.
I have a black cat that was dumped somewhere near my house a couple of years ago. My BassettX enticed Mr. Bruiser to move in and they are great friends.

BTW - kitty is pretty and looks to be getting old enough to be in serious need of a spaying before you get more houseguests!

It sure does look like Moses has a kitty. It makes me sad that people just dump animals like they do. I grew up in a rural area and live right on a main road. I think our house just looked good for dumping. Almost every year something showed up. We kept quite a few of them. Last year my mom found a kitten in her plants that was so small I could hold it in my hand (and I have really small hands).

She is beautiful! Diluted calicos are so pretty. She definately will need to be spayed soon. If you have never had a female cat in heat, trust me, that isn't something anyone wants to go through. Yikes! I thought you were talking about a tiny kitty. LOL

Awww...that is adorable I just saw a video of a golden and a kitty playing the other day and said to my hubby..."We need to get Jester a kitty!" Now I am convinced!

Kim...Hope your kitty returns home safe...

My AJ was a stray. He showed up when we were building our house. That was over 12 years ago. He wasn't a kitten but young and starving. AJ has always gotten along with our dogs.

Moses looks so sweet with kitty. Looks like he's found himself a sister.

As a matter of fact--trying to be a RESPONSIBLE pet owner- UNLIKE the jerk that dumped her- she is scheduled for spaying tomorrow! I do not know how old she is--she still has those small wickedly sharp little teeth-OUCH! I really do not want or need another kitty- Moses at 10 months is a handful but guess we have one and since my cranky 14 year old cat will not play with him he now has his own personal kitty! SIGH

I know you didn't want one, but I dont' think you could have found a sweeter, prettier nicer kitty if you tried.
Congratulations on your new addition, Moses' new friend and thanks for taking care of her.

She is so lucky that she found you, that's for sure! My neighbor used to have an unspayed female. I could never live with the rolling around and howling!

Moses needed a playmate and now he has the perfect one. I can't wait to see more pictures of them together!
