I'm going to pick up our 'rental' pup today and he still doesn't have a name, poor guy. The theme is 'boat' and he'll have boat in the Reg'd name so he needs a boat/marine/sea related call name that isn't boring or too common.

So far I'm thinking Shore or Salt but need more ideas....?

Well, pending approval, 'JIBE' is here and settling in pretty well. Not so sure about the small humans but knew better than to ignore the hiss of the cat. He really would like the cookie Allie has but she knows better than to get that close to him so he's outta luck.

It was a litter of two boys, and up until a week or so ago one of the boys was staying, and one was going to a show/performance home. However that home has decided to wait (she's in school and pretty busy and really wanted a girl), the breeder had a trip planned and is gone for a week now, and really wants this boy to go to a show/performance home still. She had a hard time deciding which boy she herself was going to keep because they're both nice pups.

So, he's here for a bit, getting socialized, potty trained and so on, rather than both boys staying together in the same house. My official next dog will be a border terrier pup late next year sometime, the kids may want to do jr handling stuff and a high drive golden is a lot for them to learn on, plus I'd like to try a little dog for performance stuff.
