This handsome, eight-year-old Golden boy was given up, because his owner was disabled and had to move to a community to that not allow dogs. He was described by his owner as very people friendly, obedient, and intelligent. Monty had a low grade fibrosarcoma removed from his side by the owner prior to being admitted to the YGRR veterinarian.
Monty was given a complete geriatric workup, treated for an ear infection, given a dental and his YGRR tattoo. He was brought to Riverview where he quickly became a favorite because of his happy and waggy personality. Monty didn't have to wait long for his new home. Repeat adopters with their YGRR dog Goldilocks, #4130, came to visit Monty and the dogs got along just great. His adopters have already called to report the he is settling in beautifully and said how much they are enjoying his playfulness!

He is gorgeous. I am so glad he found a new home to live out his senior years. We got in last month a 14 yr old golden that looks just like him.
