LOL! I thought only Sophie knew her meal times. She starts doing that about 1/2 hour before it's time for num nums. That's when I love having fun with her... I asks " Are you hungry" She cocks her head one way and the other... then I say " You want some FOOD" She looks at me, cocks her head again, then then I say " OK, lets go get some minum minum" (yes that's what we call it here lol). That's when she starts walking toward the area we keep her kibble. I'm so happy that she's interested in eating again.

Your pup has such a cute look, it's amazing how those eyes know how to tell you what they need. Who needs to speak the same language when those eyes can tell you everything like that?

My alarm clocks are my cats. They start that stare about 10 minutes before dinner. And if we are not home at feeding time they will be sitting on the counter by the door to give us the stare when we walk in.

Oh I can't even speak... as soon as any word comes out of my mouth they both jump up extremely excited and run to the kitchen. They have amazing internal body clocks!! On work days they have breakfast at 8 and dinner at 5:30 or 6 whenever I get home. On my days off when we sleep in, they'll have breakfast at like 10 or so (or later if we've been extra lazy!) and they are STILL demanding dinner at their normal time.. sometimes earlier!!

LOL I totally recognize that look. It's the one that comes right before they start bumping you with their nose or forcing theit muzzle under your hand. Yup.
Yes!! Mine both do the nudging with their nose...

My parents dog gets fed at 5:30pm every day when the news comes on. He knows the sound of the 'theme music', and it will wake him from the deepest sleep and he will get up and RUN to his bowl to be fed! I think we started humming the theme one time and he went running. lol!
