Today we had a fun visitor, Stephanie and Quiz (FlyingQuizini) joined Mira and I and another Golden training buddy to do some walking and beach play in San Diego. It was a beautiful day and we were able to snap a few pictures of the dogs before we left. It was very nice to "officially" meet Stephanie and Quiz. Quiz is certainly a lot of fun! Talk about focus!!!

Oh yeah, its really hard to get wet Goldens to pose in a picture facing AWAY from the water!!!

Yes that is Fiesta Island it was very spur of the moment

Sounds like everybody and doggie had a great time. The pups look like they wanted you to snap the picture quickly so they could get back to playing and swimming.

The whole island is off-leash but the fenced dog area is where many people go. But the island is very big, so there are usually lots of places where you can go if you want to be by yourself as well.

Great pictures. It was nice of the dogs to take time out of their play to pose so nicely. A full off-leash island, Mad and I are jealous.

The whole island is off-leash but the fenced dog area is where many people go. But the island is very big, so there are usually lots of places where you can go if you want to be by yourself as well.

If you have never been, you should check it out!

I didn't realize the non-dog fenced beach area is off-leash as well.. great to know!!

Those are some great pictures and great job on the sitting with everyone. Love the little honorary golden Darwin. Nice to see a little one keeping up with the big pups. You can see how much fun everyone is having. And how is everyone sleeping tonight?

Quiz and I had a great time meeting Jessica and Mira and seeing our other Golden buddy + friends! What a beautiful place Fiesta Island is! Awesome to be there on a weekend and still have an area all to ourselves. Nothing anywhere near that neat here in the Valley!

The dogs and I made great time driving home. Quiz and Zoie suffered through cold hose baths (grrr!) and snoozed as I cleaned out the car. They just ate and I think we're all pretty close to calling it a night!

Jessica - thanks again for waiting for us today. We'll definitely have to get together and train. How far is the drive for you to Riverside? A friend of mine has a full agility field that he rents out on days when he's not hosting trials.

We had cold hose baths too. Poor pups! You were much more ambitious than I was, I still have not unpacked the car!

Mira slept pretty much the rest of the day, so that was very nice! Barley was still tired from agility/travel too.

Riverside is about 1.5-2 hours away from me. Far for agility training, but I would be willing to do it sometime!
