My 7 month old Golden boy Max wants to play with every dog we walk past. He lunges and pulls at almost every dog we walk past. Any advice on how to stop this? He has the EZ-walk harness but it doesn't help in this situation. I don't know a command to stop this either.

I tried a couple of different methods, but this one work best for me. You teach the behavior first before applying any corrections. I think that's important. Also, incorporate leash pressure work, i.e., give to the gentle pressure on the leash = reward, repeat many times.
I'm sure you'll find one that works for you as well. 7 months old is a carefree time for Goldens, so patience will help!
