I am so excited to say I will be babysitting Kushi, Sadies puppy from her litter that was born on September 13, 2010.

I get to keep this beautiful baby (big) girl for a whole month while her dad goes to India.

I talk to all nine families and they have been so incredibly good about sending me updated pictures, contacting me on the phone, sending Christmas cards.

I loved those puppies so much it was an experience I will have my entire life.

Kushi has health insurance and goes to the same vet that I go to. Do I need the owner to sign a release that I have permission to treat her while in my care?

That does sound wonderful.... regarding the health insurance, ask your vet what he/she requires. I've never had a vet ask me about ownership, but it's probably a good idea.

You will usually need a letter from the owner that you are allowed to bring the pup in and make medical decisions. Good luck!
