Hi all,
I live in Lower Mainland, BC, Canada and I've always wanted a GR.

This will be my first pet and I'm looking for advice on picking breeders.
Are there any reliable ones known in the community?
At this point, all waitlists are full so if i'm going to wait a long time, i want to make sure i wait "in the right line"

I also saw this post saying to avoid a breeder in Langley, which one is this? (to be honest, all look legit to me)
I didn't know there was so much science behind picking a GR, I just want a pet, not for performance or hunting

There is a really good breeder in BC - Zaniri. They breed performance/hunt dogs - but they may be able to point you towards a breeder who produces dogs that would be closer to what you are looking for. They are extremely knowledgeable about the breed.

That's a good suggestion.
I've seen Zaniri thrown around as a breeder on this forum quite a few times, and I've contacted them already.

Any other advice would be appreciated!
