Please mention where you live. That would be a great help. There are many rescues, I'm sure you will have no problem finding a GR to rescue!
Looking for a GR Female
Hey all,
I'm new here (found this great place thanks to Google!). My husband and I are looking for a Golden female. We would prefer something 6 years old or younger. We currently have a wonderful 7 year old GR that we love and want another. Our home is on 5 acres near a lake and our dog(s) go everywhere with us so high activity is not a problem.

Welcome to the forum. There are golden rescues all over the country. I'm sure you will get lots of input once we know your location.
Do you want a rescue or an older retired dog from a breeder? If you want an older dog from a breeder here are a few places to check:
http://www.arcanegoldens.com - Heather is a member here (Arcane) and might still have an older girl available
http://www.dogwebs.net/Brookshire/available.asp (She has two older girls available - 10 months and 2 years)
http://www.shorlinegoldens.com - Cynthia at Shor'line sometimes has older girls too, but I'm not sure about now
If you want to rescue, let us know where you are. There are TONS of goldens in need.
