This is probably a stupid question but I've only had one other male dog and he only had one incision from his neutering procedure. Scupper had his surgery last week and I didn't look at the incisions until I got him home. He has one incision between his testicles and penis where I would expect it to be. What I am wondering about is the second incision further up his abdomen, just in front of the base of his penis. Is that normal?

He's healing fine so it wasn't cause to call the vet. I am just curious about it!

Did he have a small umbilical hernia that needed repair? That's the only things I can think that would put a small incision there, if he had a missing testicle and they went looking for it, the incision most likely wouldn't be small!
