What is the trick to getting a dog to relax in front of the camera? Lilah is a little runway model throwing me all kinds of poses and pretty expressions, Robbie squints and frowns!

I'd like to know too. Selka is so photogenic and Gunner acts like I am holding a gun rather than a camera!

He is fooled by DH so we do get a few good pics when Dad has the dummy and the camera!

Love that shot of your two lookers. I admit to using the scatter bomb method of picture taking. Thank DOG for digital cameras.

They are both so beautiful. How did you get them to sit still like that?

That is a great pic! I have a DSLR and if I put it on continuous shutter, I usually get one after they close their eyes from the first flash. Everyone was laughing at how many dog pics I have in my 2010 calendar. Ha! They are my favorite subjects!

Your photo is great!!!

I have to tape Max's ball to the camera and hold a cookie in my hand for Leonidas LOL...then I proceed to take 400 or so pictures. I usually get one or two that aren't "goofy lips" or Doggy porno with "red rockets"...

Haha!

Great photo. I think they both look relaxed. To me, it doesn't appear Robbie is frowning, rather he's giving you that "serious dignified look". I get that same "serious" look from Gracie most of the time.

As for getting really good photos, I am in the same camp with some of the other replies. I always say if I take 150 shots, I may come up with 3 or 4 good ones. Since we got Gracie, I have taken a little over 4000 photos. I bet I have fewer than 100 that I really like.
