Yup, today my little peanut is 1 year old...to tell you the truth mom here was sick of cooking - we had a family dinner here last Sunday, my sons birthday dinner on Monday, then I cooked two days for Thanksgiving. So... Layla got pizza, but I did make her a birthday cake.

She got two new toys and two bones... the soft toy was promptly destuffed by her...and is now dead. She is afraid of the other toy LOL.
She is now having a great time with a bone... and really enjoyed her cake, she licked her name right off of it.

I wish I could have gotten better pics of her, but she never stays still. This is the only dog I have so few pictures of.. she is always a blur.

It was just a plain old yellow cake with vanilla frosting...nothing fancy.

They get so excited when there is a birthday around here, they know it means a small piece of cake for them too.
