Come on Folks you've been Badgering us Transport Coordinators to post to the PNP 5000 board to utilize these pilots and we have so now Toni has a pilot that will FLY them into Lancaster PA where there will be LOTS of MEDIA. BUT SHE NEEDS to get them From WILLIAMSBURG, KY to Knoxville, KY to meet the pilot you see it isn't as easy as just plopping them on the plane as some folks think. There is some work involved. So We need a driver or two to help with this.

These furry kids will be EXHAUSTED after their spot on T.V being shown All over the Nation for the PNP 5000 when Pilot Jon flies them into Lancaster PA Please MAKE A HUGE SHOWING of suport .............and while your there pick up a few of the pups for Toni and drive them on over to Harrisburg PA and Volunteer to overnight these poor babies as they'll be exhauted................and they'll need a little more help to finish out their travels to get to their final destination. Contact Toni if you can help "Toni Klemko" <[email protected]>, (verizon.net)

Hello Road Warriors,
We have a very different one this weekend..Jon with Pilots and Paws is speaking in Lancaster, Pa. He will be flying from Knoxville, TN and didn’t want to fly empty. So, we filled em up..
Now we HAVE to get these puppers from Winchester, KY to Knoxville, TN on Friday evening and we need an overnight and then from Lancaster, PA to Buffalo, NY to finish their journey to rescue..

As you can see these guys range in weight from 15# to 50#. No one is coming with a crate because Jon will supply crates for the flight..Extra dead weight just flying crates..So, I am needing my SPECIAL ROAD WARRIORS.
Please let me know soonest if you can drive. I must let Jon know by Thursday at the latest…If I can not fill the ground portion of this run we can not be part of the PnP 5000 and Jon will have to find other dogs to fly on short notice.

THE FINE PRINT: As a volunteer transport coordinator, I am dependent on what the senders tell me about our passengers' temperaments, The very nature of rescue transport creates some risk for those who participate in it; even a good-natured dog may find it stressful to be passed from stranger to stranger and cooped up with unfamiliar dogs, and in consequence may act in uncharacteristic ways. Neither I nor anyone associated with this transport can accept liability for any accidents or incidents that may occur during the transport. If you wish to adopt a dog you have driven you must go through regular channels. No dog leaves this transport..

Hi Karen,

Hali's Mom posted this earlier. I passed the info on to my cousin in KY when I read her thread. I hope they can find people to help.
Kimm

Kimm

Can't be posted enough. I hope your cousin can help.

Pilots N Paws is offering to fly 5000 Rescue animals to rescues/adopters and they just need a little help from people to get them to the pilots.

Jon, the Pilot, is a WONDERFUL and giving person. He donates his time and money to flying these dogs to safety!! What a guy.

Please everyone, send this transport out to ALL YOU KNOW and everyone on your email list!!!!
I saw the Good Morning America spot about the 5 thousand dogs and this organization. My cousin works or worked at one of the Humane Societies in KY. I'm hoping she reads her FB email and knows people who may want to get involved.
Update as of 9/15

Here is an update from Toni, still need the first leg KY - TN and several in upstate NY. Please forward to ANYONE in these areas. Thanks Kathi
