well Blue ventured back into the ring after a 5 month hiatus, and wouldn't you know, I looked down as we were entering the building and I said sheeeeeeeee **T that poor boy has cold in his tail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did well despite the droop, and his 1st time with Graeme, but no pts today! He is still naked and I see hair that should have taken a vacation, prior to his return!!!!!!!!!! sorry guys the pics are really grainy and far away, as I was "out of sight out of mind" !!!! LOL

I do not understand the show lingo and do not have any idea what a "cold in the tail" is however I would give that good looking golden the blue ribbon
He is a fine looking boy!!

thank you Alan! Cold in the tail prevents them from lifting it and he was doing a semi-wag. It sometimes happens when dogs swim in cold water, hence the name "cold tail" I made sure I dried it very well after his bath, but such is life, it comes off the back and does a distinct droop....sigh!!!!!!!!!! It usually clears up in a few days on its own, just in time for the show to be OVER!!

Oh he's lovely! And less hair shows what he's really made of it it looks like solid muscle! Sorry to hear about the tail - perhaps a chill after his bath? It's such a weird thing - I've never had a dog have that.

I understand he was groomed up and until I get news from Gwen, I don't know if his tail is better or not! Still waiting on news from the Group for Razz...I understand he was Best Puppy in Breed but don't know if he went further! All in all, a good Graeme day!!!!!!!!!!!!

He looked 100% better today, Heather. The tail isn't 100% but much better than yesterday. He seemed to know that he looked better as he appeared to be much happier!

As far as Puppy Group, refer to my other thread. Razz gave Graeme 200%, looked marvelous & moved like a pro but no ribbon today for puppy group. I'm just so proud of his presence in the ring @ just 11 mos.

All in all, a great day for GRF member!
