Jogging with Roxy

G'day All
Roxy is now 23 weeks old. I am a little bit of a fitness freak and was wondering at what age i should start to take her for little jogs around the block - about 1.6 miles or 2km. I know that we need to be careful of her hips. We take her to the park three or four times a week and she runs like the wind for about half an hour until its time to come home. She then collapses on her bed. No naughty behaviour when she is getting her regular outings. Good advice from the forum - thanks.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Hold off on any enforced running until she reaches physical maturity (18 months to 2 years), especially on hard surfaces. For now, she can run as much as she wants off leash and on soft surfaces, like grass.

Ditto, you don't want to damage developing joints and bones running her too young.
Agree with the others.
Thanks all. I enjoy running and when she's down at the park she runs and runs so I wondered when we would be able to head out for some bonding time together. She has another 12 months of peace and quiet. I also just found out that my training partner has just collected hi border collie pup. I guess that in about 12 months time you will be able to see all four of us out running together.
