So why does hayden stand in the freakin' rain????? She has a very big dog house to leasure in with her food and water in it.. but NO she has to stand there in the rain.. then if it rains enough to make mud she HAS to play in it!

I had to go out today so she was left in the backyard... I come home and she's soaked with mud on her legs. I sigh and put her in the garage to dry off...
I go out to check on her and rub her down with a towel and ..... shoes EVERYWHERE!!!!!! grrrrr. I snarl at her and put the shoes back. It took a while but she finally dried up and I let her into the house.

I wish she'd realise if she stays dry thats more time with momma she gets to spend!

I hate the rain though... was hoping to visit the dog park today.

Most goldens love water and mud. My guys will stand outside for a long time. Oakly loves to roll in the mud. Figures he is my lighter colored boy.
Chester loves the rain....we have a hard time getting him to come in when it's raining. Crazy dog!!!!

'Cause she's a golden retriever!!

I have learned to love our walks in the rain. I make sure to have a big towel by the front door when we return and I normally don't let Rookie off leash when it's raining because he WILL roll around in the mud.
our lab just plants her rear on the floor if we open the door to rain -- she's the leader, so no one goes out in the rain. If they're outside & rain begins, no problem
Hank like the rain as well.
Penny doesn't 'do' rain. If she goes out and feels it, she turns around and comes right back in. She's been known to hold her morning 'toilet' until 2 in the afternoon when it quit raining!
My boys love the rain and will stay out there if I let them but my girls run into the house when the first raindrop hits them. It is funny really.

That was my Maggie :gotme:
Welcome to the world of a golden !! They love the wet, cold and mud. LOL
One thing about Bella, she doesn't care if its sunny, raining, freezing, or hot outside. She wants to go outside to play. I have a feeling she is going to love the snow when it comes!
