Westleigh taught me so much about courage in this forum - I'm so sorry for your loss... I can relate to your thoughts on not having a dog for 30 years and not able to go without one now... Finnleigh is so cute and adorable 🤩 I wish you lots of beautiful and joy-filled memories with her 😊
Introducing Finnleigh
After saying goodbye to Westleigh in February I wasn’t sure when the right time for another Golden would be. Well, it wasn’t even 3 months. I went over 30 years without ever owning a dog let alone a Golden Retriever and couldn’t even make it 3 months without adding another. This is Finnleigh who came home today.

This is wonderful ! Finnleigh has some pretty fine paws to fill! But the most important is that part in your heart so I'm sure she is doing just fine. I understand your need to have another fur baby. Congratulations and best wishes. P.S. Having been there many times............I wish you many chuckles 
When Finnleigh goes through some "trying" puppy stages and you compare her to Westleigh, wanting her to instantly BE that PERFECT DOG, I know they will happen - so in advance I'll just let you know................Finnleigh will be there someday. BTW she is gorgeous
