Any such thing, and please not hubbys recommendation of an iron one (I don't think that would be very comfy) LOL?

Layla has an appt. for her spay at the beginning of November... she will have to spend a lot of time in her crate for her own safety (she is still going to want to wrestle with big brother). Any dog bed we have tried she has eaten, that is 4 so far. She sleeps with her blankie which is now only a rag... and a towel.

Some one has to make one that is strong enough to stand up to a crazy golden that thinks she is a goat.... any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Julie

It's supposed to be indestructable, but it will cost you!

It's a great bed, but my dog is afraid of it. It is raised off the ground so she is afraid to step up onto it. I keep trying to coax her onto it, we shall see if she ever gets used to it. She chewed up about 6 or 7 beds so far:doh:

Good Luck!

I would personally recommend holding off on buying a dog bed until she is out of the chewing phase. It's just not worth the investment until then. Tucker wasn't able to have his own bed until he was almost 12 months old because he would always chew them all to pieces and they wouldn't last more than a day. He would even chew the blankets in his crate. We got him a new LL Bean bed for his first birthday, which was 2 months ago, and so far so good. I would just wait until she grows up a bit.

Thanks all,

I don't think the Kuranda bed will work well in the crate... and I can just see her being afraid of it LOL.

Maybe I should just try to make one myself... I made beds for all my other dogs, but they were not so hard on them.

I am not sure Layla is ever going to out grow her chewing phase, she is 10 months old and she chewed one of the feet off a book case last week... could have been really bad for her if that heavy thing fell over.

thanks again,

Julie
