Since there is always great concern and discussion about disease and preventatives, I thought this map would be both of interest and useful to assist in assessing the risks of disease in your specific area such as: Lyme, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Heartworm & Leptospirosis.

This is for Canada only.

On the site below, you are able to enter your postal code, choose the specific disease, year and you will find all the confirmed cases IDEXX labs have documented from blood tests ( IDEXX SNAP 4Dx) in ranges from 1km, 5 km, 50 km, 100 km, 250 km, 500 km to your specific location.

Thanks!! I have bookmarked it. Very interesting to be able to see the incidence within 1 km of your home!

Excellent, very useful, Thanks for sharing! People in the dog park already reported ticks on their dogs as early as late February, that is early for this climate.

They wake up and get active anytime it is about 3 degrees or warmer.
