I live in Ireland with my boyfriend and our Goldren retriever called Simba who is 10months old. I have moved to the Uk for university and i havnt seen Simba in 2weeks. Its the longest that we have been apart and i miss him so much. He is the best ever and im not going to see him for another week and a half. Its so hard. Heres some pics of us!

Oh I know how much you must miss him.

I find it hard being away from Buddy for a few hours. I have his picture at work on the wall above my desk...so stare at him there. Then when I go into the classroom, he is around my neck on a necklace so can look at him there and kiss him when I feel the need.

I havent had a vacation in 7 years...I just cant stand the thought of being away from him for that long. Besides, what is a vacation without da buddy!

Count the days!! It wont be long now before you see your baby!

I remember when I moved to Taiwan from Korea my poor boy had to be quarantined for 3 weeks!!!!! It was just the worst. I was staying at my brothers in Chaiyi and Buddy was in Thaichung. I travelled everyday to see him by train...oh, but the nights were horrible. I would hug my pillow and just cry my eyes out. It was just terrible.

They certainly are a part of us, aren't they? I know it's hard. I have Duke's picture as the wallpaper for my phone. Like My Buddy, I can kiss him whenever I feel the need, which lately has been every 5 minutes! lol Soon you will be reunited.

oooh I feel for you. I had to go travel for 2 weeks once to a bunch of conferences and leave my Pud with friends. I was a mess the entire time. Haven't gone anywhere without her since.

I know it's hard to be away from your dog. I haven't seen Scooby for almost a year now, ever since i moved to the west coast (He still lives with my parents), but i'll be seeing him for thanksgiving finally!. Hang in there.
