It was 6 years ago today, Oct. 16, 2003, at 8:40 PM that my Hunter went to the bridge, dead at 4 yeas 2 months because of that ProHeart6 injection to prevent heart worms. I had thought I was doing the right thing switching him from the daily pil to the 6 month injection and it killed him.

As I sit here on the Texas coast missing my Hunter, Sue is sitting in Wisconsin missing her border collie, Bandit who also died on Oct. 16, 2003 because of his ProHearr6 injection. He was onbly 7.

Hunter was my heart dog, as Bandit was Sue's. Thse boys are very much missed and Oct. 16 is always sad for both Sue and I and we "cry"
to each other thru e-mails. God bless our boys and all dogs, no matter the breed, at the Bridge.

He was such a handsome boy, am so sad that you lost him so young. We can only try and do our best for these loved furry ones, and I know how hard it is when something goes wrong and we feel that we are to blame. I'm sure Hunter is sharing many happy memories with his friends at the bridge
