He plays in the dirt all the time like all dogs and I like to keep the house clean is bathing him once or twice a week to much? What do we go by on how often to bath our puppy?
Is there any specific shampoo's out there someone would like to recommend?

Whenever he smells. I bathe my dogs all the time- they have great coats.

I use a conditioning shampoo and I give Bailey a bath once every week. If Bailey plays in the mud, dirt, or lake I will give her an extra bath.

I've been bathing Hank just about once a week, sometimes more if his brother's been over. They love to dig and wrestle in the dirt. Even as a puppy people comment on his coat. I use Pet Head.

We bathe our dogs once every 2 weeks, but we'll do it sooner if they get all muddy or dirty playing outside. We use Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner and have very soft and shiny coats.
