Penny Lane started puppy kindergarden last week and did very well. She already knew how to do what as on the "lesson plan" (sit) so it was a little boring for her. My question, though, is how many training sessions should I do with her a day? I keep them short (10-15 min) but I don't know how many to do. I usually do her training with her kibble, which usually takes the place of lunch. At class, though, I use hotdog to keep her more interested. Also, last week she fell asleep in class (she was the only one to do this). Is that normal?

Our first class with Lucky is tonight. We are doing click training. I was afraid of the same thing. He knows sit, lay, touch, high five.....does not know stay!

I am sure (from what I read) it is still good to teach the command outside of the home so they can learn in different environments.

We do approximately 5 sessions of 5 minutes. But once Luck has mastered something he gets bored even with the 5 minutes and walks away.
