maddison weighed 68 pounds at 6 months.....she was always a big puppy and now at 15 months she weighs 77 pounds she isn't fat at all just a big girl my vet actually told me yesterday that she was a small female???

Amber was very small when we got her and she was on a very poor quality food. We changed her food but even at 6 months she was only 43lb but she looked great and we simply ignored the comments about her being underweight.

However at 2 ½ years the vet put her on a diet… She is now a healthy 72lb GR (not an ounce of fat on her ).

I do not know if her growth has slowed down but I am 100% sure that Amber has never lost her appetite (she is not allowed people's food). I would investigate that if I were you even though Chloe doesn’t sound underweight but then all GR’s are different.

Molson weighed 45.5 pounds last week at the vet. Until this week, I thought he looked skinny to me but I'm feeding him 1.5 cups twice a day of Pro Plan/Fromm's and if I give him any more, then the end of his poops go soft/runny. This week I think he looks so much more muscular and I can feel how dense his muscles are getting.

He does have HUGE paws though, so I'm thinking that he still has a LOT of growing to do!

 

Timber at 24 weeks weighed in at 57 lbs.
I'm tired of everyone telling me how huge he is going to be
So he's got big feet, alot have big feet and are not huge!!!
He's just a healthy boy

 

For awhile, Simon was gaining ten pounds each month- 4 months- 40-something pounds- 5 months- 50-something pounds, 6 months-60-something pounds....

We were getting REALLY scared, because he isn't fat, he's just big (tall), and I was WORRIED that by the time he was a year old, he'd weight 100+ pounds!!

Well, he's tapered off to a nice 80 pounds now. Sometimes I think he's fat until I see him wet, and then I worry that I'm not feeding him enough. LOL.

Of course, if you ask him, he CERTAINLY isn't getting enough food!

His Mom weighed 70-75lbs, and Dad was 90-95lbs. I'm guessing he'll end up in the middle.

holy smokes! Comet went for a rabies shot today at 13 weeks 4 days and topped the scales at 18.5 lbs! he was 10.3 at 8 weeks when we got him and was too finicky an eater the first 3 weeks with us. now he's crushing 3/4 a cup 3x a day, plus treats, which is over the recommended for puppies on the food bag.

his mom was about 70 lbs and dad was about 85 lbs.

 

Duke just turned 7 months and we weighed him at home, so give or take a few pounds, but he was 74.3 pounds!!! He's a MOOSE and a monster!

 

Our little guy Cooper will be 6months at the end of July. He was weighed at home about 2 weeks ago and he weighed 45lbs.

 

Jake is 3 1/2months old and was weighed at the vet's this morning. He is 42 pounds, not overweight, just muscular and growing fast.

 

When Flora was spayed at about 7 months she weighed in at 48.5lbs. She's my tiny girl.

I've had more than one person ask me if she was a miniature golden retriever even after I informed them she was a puppy. :doh:

 

Cash weighed 9.8lbs @ 7 weeks
Weighed in at the vets yesterday 36.4 lbs (16 weeks)

 

thanks for the replies...alot of people keep telling me how "huge" she is...so I was just wondering how she would top out. by the sounds of it..she isn't all that big after all.
