I also am so grateful I learned about the wonders of Listerine from PointGold's thread a while back. The stuff is amazing! I keep it on hand in a spray bottle (diluted with water) and use that twice a day... hot spots are gone in a week, and between that and a little balg balm the hair grows back very quickly. With my magic Listerine I can pretty much stop a hot spot when it's a tiny, tiny scab... except for this time, because I was out of town.
I now use it on everything... great for hot spots, great when Milly is between baths, and I even used it after an evening with an up-do meant I had to put tons of hairspray in my hair, and the product buildup was creating dandruff. Yup, I'm like the dad from
My Big Fat Greek Wedding is with Windex. Listerine is my new favorite product! I killed a spider on the dashboard of my car, and forgot to clean it... a few days later I noticed the leather was starting to stain... a little Listerine, and the stain and spider guts came right out! I even use it at work to shield myself from the swine flu... don't know if it will work, but it seems stronger than purrell.
