I hate doing this to her, but I know it's for the best.

She'll do fine. Riley is 4 days post spay and she acts like nothing ever happened. In fact, she was home be 2:30 the day of surgery, slept all day and then was back to normal the next day. I had to make her take it easy which, in itself was a feat! Tonight she was running around like crazy and I had to put her in her crate to calm down. Dogs are very resilient.
