I've wondered that myself about situations like this. My Flora has luxating patella in both her legs, and since it's hereditary I was wondering if the breeder was planning on telling everyone who has a pup from that litter.

Please check to see if your state has any puppy lemon laws and/or if your breeder has anything in the breeding contract that could help you get reimbursed some of your money for the surgeries.
