My 6 month old Tucker has been diagnosed with bilateral hip laxity and 2 ortho vets have recommended surgery (Triple Pelvic Osteotomy). Both concurred the the condition is severe enough that surgical intervention is the only practical option. While I have no insurance, I will folow through if it's best for the pup. The breeder says that this has never occurred to her knowledge in all the litters she has sold. Does the breeder have at least an ethical obligation to notify the rest of the buyers of the litter (9) of this problem.
