Hi,

I'm new on the forum and am very happy to announce that my new golden retriever puppy will be arriving in 3 weeks. Can't wait!!

It's a female puppy, and her name will be Happy!

Can anyone offer any ideas as to what should go in the bench - and what definitely has to stay out? What about tennis balls? Rubber squeaky toys? Bones? Big stuffed animals (for comfort maybe)?

Can some things stay inside the bench with her when she's alone? Or are all things just meant for playing with when someone's around and have to be removed when she's alone?

Bye,
Hikkup

I am sure ones that have had pups more recently can help you out here. But Welcome to the board and when you get your pup please post some pictures of Happy here.

Congrats on the pup!!! I have a 11 week old and when he is alone I let him have this blue large rubber bone from PetStages, a rope and a kong. I DON'T let him have any Ziggies in the Kong...and I don't let him have tennis balls. We just bought him a toy that looks like a stick and it is solid, dense rubber. I let him have that.
