Please help golden retriever experts, my dog had a cut this morning from a piece of glass, she was bleeding a bit but no more blood is shown after 15 min, what should i do now?

It will likely heal up just fine on its own. So long as it's not continuing to bleed throughout the day, I think you'll be okay.

If her regular activity causes it to bleed again, a vet trip might be needed. If not, I bet it heals really fast.

Sutures would hold it closed if it is gaping open. If it is staying closed maybe just watch for infection. Infection would be present if you saw redness, swelling with greenish matter in the cut.
thanks for your reply, what is sutures and can i get it at the local pet store?

Sutures are stitches, if the cut is severe enough a vet would have sew it together.

But tongues heal well usually on their own, so just watch it a few days and make sure it doesn't bleed again or look infected.

tongues heal very quickly.....
My oldest son had an outfield collision playing baseball and had a nasty gash on his tongue that bled for hours.
ER doctor said they rarely stitch tongues...they flushed the wound and sent us home....clear liquids for 24 hours...and day three you could only see a fine line for a scar...
