I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rita and I'm Kosmo and Jackson's mom and we live in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. Kosmo is our beautiful 8 year old and Jackson is our precocious 10 month old boy. Jackson just finished puppy class and started his obedience class last week. So far so good. I was wondering if there are other Marygold Pines golden owners on the forum and if any live in the tri-state area. I hope to upload some pictures soon. I'm excited to have found this forum and look forward to hearing stories from other golden owners.

Welcome to the forum. We'd love to see some pics of your crew. I think you'll find several WVA members here, and even though I'm in TX, I have lots of family in Bluefield. LOVE it there.

I don't have a Marygold Pines golden, but I'm from Morgantown. Are you near Seneca Rocks? My favorite place in all of WV is right there in that area. I know Pendleton Co. is not considered in the eastern panhandle, but Grant is and thats very close to Seneca. Sorry, just being nosy! Looking to buy property and/or a cabin of some sort in the next 5 years down there.

Yeah! Our WV population is growing :wavey:! I'm in North Central WV and your neck of the woods is gorgeous. My very best friends live in Martinsburg.
Welcome from me, Sadie and Loocie:)

I hope to add some pictures soon. I'm not very computer literate so I expect it will take me a little time to navigate the forum. Thanks for the welcome!

Bluefield is a lovely place. We're probably about 4 hours north of there closer to the Maryland border. I hope to add some pictures as soon as I figure out how it's done. I'm excited to hear about other goldens and see their pictures. Thanks ofr the welcome!

Thanks for the welcome. I'm about 1 1/2 hr from Seneca Rocks and I agree it is one of the most beautiful spots in WV. Fishing at Smoke Hole is great too. I hope to get some pictures up as soon as I figure out how to add them.

I lived in Martinsburg for 4 years with an earlier golden and we walked all over town. It was a nice place to live. We're about 20 miles from there now.

Welcome from Georgia, Rita, Kosmo and young Jackson pup:wavey:

You have found the very best group of Golden loving folks on the internet or most likely anywhere else.
Need to see a few more pictures of those two:)

Marygold pines goldens

We also live in the Eastern Panhandle, in Falling Waters, and have a 8 months old golden from the Marygold Pines lineage. We also have a female golden who just turned 4 last month, her name is Mollie and his name is Cooper. We just lost our boy of almost 15 years in Jan 2010.

We're big golden lovers. We are in process of therapy training for both of our babies this month. Cooper is an English Cream color and Mollie is a light golden. There's no better companion in the world than these angels. We are on the list for the next litter from Marygold Pines sometime in the fall. I can say that the pup we got from that lineage is super smart, almost scary smart! We will upload some pictures of both very soon, and hopefully can meet some other golden lovers in the area.
