Hello there - new guy here. Former golden owner has been without a special dog for too long. Will be adopting from a premier local breeder shortly after the first of 2010 when pups will be available. Wanted to sign on now and get back into the golden mood.

Where are you getting your new buddy?

We are getting our new puppy from Pekay Goldens - a breeder very near where we now live and someone we have known about for a very long time. A litter is due in a few weeks so if all goes well we will have our female puppy in mid-to-late January. :crossfing

Our late golden, Brandy, had Pekay in her pedigree and I was impressed with her beauty and personality - a true joy to train and spend time with. Now that we live within 35 miles of Pekay Goldens it just made sense to search for our new golden girl there.

I have already made one visit to the breeder and got to meet a lot of their dogs - including the parents of the litter expected in a few weeks. We are on the list to get the second pick of any females in that litter. Things are looking very positive at this point...:crossfing
