And did GREAT!

I took him up to bed with me last night and he actually settled down and went to sleep. He was kinda pouncy at first, but I rolled over and ignored him and within minutes he was snuggled up next to me. He moved around quite a bit during the night, but seemed like he always had to be close/touching me.

I woke up this morning to his head snuggled in by my neck. He must've realized I was awake b/c he lifted his head and softly licked my cheek, then put his head down on my chest.

THAT right there was my moment. You know, the moment you realize you are totally head-over-heels in love with your dog...

That is so sweet. Way to go Obi keep up the good work. That love feeling first thing in the morning is the best.

Banished

After trying for 4-5 sleep deprived nights, we gave up and banished Toby back to the downstairs. He started on the bed, moved to the floor, returned to the bed with a toy, returned to the floor, etc., every hour on the hour all night long. Didn't seem to affect his days at all. At 50+, however, it sure affected mine. Although he typically barks a handful of times, we're all sleeping better with him downstairs.

Awwww... I would love for Bailey to sleep outside her kennel, but when she wakes up, she wakes the rest of us up too. Bailey gets up several times during the night.

WTG Obi! :D
