Well Fisher came through on his home court. Two more Senior passes at the Mid-Florida GRC tests this weekend!
I tell ya what -- the past month my training partner's bitch was in season, we still trained with her but just ran her last. Fisher was unphased by all this.
Well on Saturday Fisher's "girlfriend," another golden bitch owned by friends from down south, ran right before us. Fisher was chattering his teeth in the holding blind (OH NO) and it was all I could do to keep him focused on the test and NOT on the bitch honoring for him!!! ARGH! Well they called me later on that night and guess what? Their bitch started bleeding that afternoon.
Moral of the story, next time training partner's bitch comes in season, SHE RUNS FIRST! HEEL-NICK-HEEL!
But I'm very pleased with two passes, I had to handle on a mark in each test which I do not like but I gotta admit, on both those marks and on our blinds, he had very crisp handling, sharp sits and awesome casts, no refusals. I would have liked more focus on the marking but his handling was great.
Our next test is not until November.

I was at the test here is the real story.
Fisher looked great and lined the water blind on Sunday. His handler did not look near as calm or ready as Fisher did. I offered her a bucket for her nervous stomach, she refused and held together nicely through the weekend.
I still think you should go down to Treasure Coast for that halloween title. Could make for a great party.
We want Fisher and ribbon pictures, please.

Now what Jim doesn't mention is how his golden "Marlo" aka TOPBRASS ONE MORE TIME AROUND JH also got two SH passes this weekend in very fine form, she made it look easy! What a cool little dog. For her efforts she got to flirt with Fisher, ha ha.
Was great meeting you Jim and we will definitely have to plan some training sessions! We'll bring the birds you bring the gun!

Here is Fisher taking off after a bumper -- pictures taken after the tests' conclusion yesterday.

Another one of me and Fisher (left) and my friend and training partner Kristin with her bitch "Sophie" who finished their JH yesterday.
