Hi everyone! I am Jesika! I Welcome all of you Hampton Roaders to join the Meetup Group: Golden Retriever Lovers of Hampton Roads!

** This group is intended for play dates off leash in a fenced in dog park or an indoor play area.**

This group is for you if you: Want to meet other local Golden owners, want to attend casual social events with your 4-legged family member, and want your Golden(s) to participate in a fun and stimulating play group with other Goldens!

Eventually after we establish some members, I would like to bring awareness to Golden Retriever Rescues in Hampton Roads! I think that we can do this by supporting and possibly volunteering for SEVA GRREAT – Southeastern Virginia Golden Retriever Rescue Education & Training.

It's just starting out. So we haven't had our actual first meeting! we'd love to have you! I live in Portsmouth, but the first meeting is in Norfolk!

I realize I'm late to the party on this, but I just moved here with my 3 yr old golden. I searched for this meetup, but could not find it. Is there a group getting together still? I'd love to meet other golden fans!

Hi all,

we're in Gloucester and looking to meet others with Golden's for play dates. We just brought our eight week old Golden home last weekend. When he's done with all his shots we would like for him to get out and about and meet other dogs, Golden's in particular. He's obviously pretty small right now, so ideally other dogs closer to his age.

I realize this thread is quite old, but I figured I'd reach out and see if there are any others still looking for a meetup in the area.
